International Nurse Respite Program

In the summer of 2025 The Renewal Initiative (TRI) is partnering with the U.S.-based medical community to provide frontline trauma nurses from war-torn Ukraine with a vital opportunity for respite, advanced training, and advocacy. This initiative equips Ukrainian medical professionals with cutting-edge emergency care techniques, the latest tools and technologies, and critical first-aid updates. Beyond professional development, the program offers these courageous nurses much-needed rest and restoration while also creating space for them to share their powerful stories with the American public—raising awareness and support for Ukraine’s ongoing humanitarian and medical needs.
