Medical Supplies and Training
Fall 2024
In Fall 2024, TRI is embarking on a mission to enhance emergency medical response in the war-torn regions of Ukraine. The initiative involves procuring items such as Combat Application Tourniquets (C-A-T 7), bandages, and QuikClot gauze and delivering them to the frontlines. Collaborating with US-based emergency personnel ensures the correct and early application of tourniquets, a critical skill in emergency situations. The partnership also includes training sessions to equip Ukrainians with the best evidence-based practices to appropriately use these life-saving tools. The cost of these supplies ranges typically ranges between $35-40 USD.
