2024 LYH Renewal Night Recap

The Renewal Initiative (TRI) hosted its inaugural “Renewal Night” in Lynchburg, Virginia on Saturday, September 14th. The goal was to gather supporters and partners to express gratitude, provide a live update about our previous Spring project, and to share about our upcoming Fall medical project. 

Key components of the event included:

  • A video presentation showcasing TRI’s mission and the ongoing situation in Ukraine.

  • A panel discussion featuring stories from recent trips to Ukraine.

  • Attendees were given a small gift symbolizing survival and resilience.

  • Photographer Noah Stone shared some of his photos from Ukraine which will be featured in an upcoming photo gallery. 

  • Attendees were also given a preview of an upcoming documentary about Ukraine which is being produced by JE Films. 

Since collaboration is one of TRI’s core values, the evening concluded with a call to action, encouraging attendees to partner with TRI’s medical mission and to share the upcoming initiatives with others. 

It can be daunting to attempt to make a difference in a broken part of the world, but by joining together we can help one life at a time recover dignity and hope.
